The home is well equipped with profiling electric beds, pressure
relieving mattress, various hoists and other specialist nursing equipment
e.g. wheelchairs, walking frames, assisted showers and baths etc.
A special unit is provided for patients with dementia
and staff are trained in this unit to cater for the needs of those patients.
Life long history is taken and a patient centre low arousal approach for
those with a challenging behaviour
( the home will not cater for patients with extreme challenging behaviour
